Lifetime Manufacturing Warranty

At Gemray Jewels Pty Ltd (ACN 697 100 726), we proudly offer a Lifetime Material Warranty on all jewellery purchased directly from Gemray Jewels.

This warranty covers material defects only and applies to defects in the precious metals or gemstones that arise from the quality of the materials used under normal wear and use.

What is Covered

This warranty covers:

• Defects in the quality of the precious metal, such as 925 Sterling Silver, gold, or platinum, used in the jewellery.
• Defects in natural gemstones or laboratory-grown gemstones resulting from inherent material flaws present at the time of manufacture.
• Material failures that occur under normal use and are determined by Gemray Jewels to be caused by defective materials.

If a covered material defect is confirmed, Gemray Jewels will, at its discretion:

• Repair the item;
• Replace the item with the same or a comparable product; or
• Provide a refund where repair or replacement is not reasonably available or where required under the Australian Consumer Law.

What is Not Covered

This warranty does not cover:

• Normal wear and tear.
• Scratches, dents, tarnishing, fading, or surface wear.
• Damage caused by accidental impact, dropping, bending, crushing, or misuse.
• Loose or lost gemstones unless caused solely by a confirmed material defect.
• Broken chains or clasps resulting from accidental damage or excessive force.
• Damage caused by chemicals, perfumes, cosmetics, cleaning products, swimming pools, spas, or seawater.
• Natural inclusions, colour variations, or characteristics of genuine gemstones.
• Damage caused by improper care, neglect, or failure to follow jewellery care instructions.
• Any repairs, resizing, engraving, alterations, or modifications performed by anyone other than Gemray Jewels.
• Lost or stolen jewellery or gemstones.

Warranty Conditions

• Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims.
• All jewellery must be returned to Gemray Jewels for inspection before any warranty claim is approved.
• Gemray Jewels reserves the sole right to determine whether the issue is the result of a material defect covered by this warranty.
• This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.
• This warranty is provided in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law and does not limit those rights.
